who live at 9809 S. Jamestown.

November 2007
The beautiful, well kept yard
of Rob and Emily Killam on 98th St. looks great the year around.
Other than mowing and edging, Emily is the designer and primary
laborer to plant all the annuals, shrubs and arrangements of seasonal
accents on the front porch. We look forward to the Christmas holiday
season to see what Emily has in mind for us to view.

October 2007
Always pretty and always cared
for is the our Yard of the Month on 99th St. belonging to Beverly
Calvert. A member of the Silver Chase H. O. A. since 1988, Beverly
always takes great pride in her home and yard as evidenced by
the annual flowers and manicured shrubs. A recent addition is
the brick border between her walks and flower beds.

September 2007
The Robert's home on 100th
Place looks very pretty with multiple plant species, both perennial
and annual. They are a very busy family with both work and school,
but keep their yard and home in fine shape.

August 2007
The Contemporary home of Ray
and Nancy Warden on 99th Street is abloom with Impatiens, Begonias,
Caladiums and blue hydrangeas. Ray and his two Corgies are out
early each morning and usually around sun-down to weed, water
and tend to the flowers and yard. The Wardens are proud of their
home in Silver Chase and take the time and effort to keep it worthy
of Yard of the Month all year long.

July 2007
The whole West family got
into the swing to plant this beautiful yard of primarily red,
white and pink Impatiens. Long before the rains they spent most
of a week-end doing the work and the results are beautiful. The
home can be seen at the intersection of Louisville and 99th Street.
Al and Mary West do a great job keeping their home looking its
best all year long.

June 2007
A big and friendly Black Lab
named Ford watches from the wall of the front steps where he is
king of the Armstrong "domain". Ford has plenty of playmates
with the Armstrong clan. Alan and Shelly have four children, Caitlin,
Claire, Jarret and Gabrielle who are on the go and very busy all
the time. The Armstrong's new front yard, while still new this
year, will blossom by summer and be even more attractive next
year.

May 2007
Dr. Dave and Sherry Swanson
have worked very hard on their home at the intersection of 99th
Street and Jamestown since moving in 2005. They landscaped and
installed all new shrubs, trees, Versa-lock wall and steps for
a complete make-over. Also, all the back yard and gardens were
reworked with new additions for a wonderful job. He did most all
the heavy work and Sherry selected and sited all the plants, trees,
shrubs plus perennials and annuals.

April 2007
Mona and Frank Mange take
great pride in their home at the corner of Oswego and 98th St.
Mona is the designer and maintainer of all the beautiful Phlox,
Daffodils and Pansies. They both work and are very busy. They
moved to Silver Chase in 1981 and have four grown daughters. Mona
jogs nearly everyday, come rain or shine. Frank is a walker.

March 2007
Donna and Kieth Goudelock
have lived in their Silver Chase home on S. Oswego since 1995.
Donna is the designer and maintainer of the beautiful Pansies,
Daffodils and ground cover. They both work, so Donna does most
of her work on week-ends. Donna walks nearly every day with her
Boston Bulldog female, "Scooter". Kieth is an avid motorcyclist
and is the deep pockets.
